Stress to adaptation

I am now reporting a reason for celebration.
I finally have an idea for what I want to do.
Good thing, since my proposal is due on Monday. Basically, I talked with Ms.Alonzo, and she said that I couldn't inflict stress on humans.( should have seen that one coming).
Then she told me to decide between plants or fruit flies.
I decided to torture the plant, and I started researching on what stresses out plants.
Apparently, high humidity or high heat stresses out plants.
So I decided that maybe I could have three plants, one with normal humidity, which would be the control, and the other two plants would have extremes. One would have high temperatures/humidity (pick one) and the other would have low humidity/temperature.
And then I would see how they would adapt to the harsh conditions.
But I guess that would change the purpose of my experiments.
So I guess my experiment would now be about how quickly plants can adapt to their environments.
I wonder how an experiment about stress suddenly became an experiment about adaptation.
Oh, well.

What to do??

Hi people who read my STEM blog,
I am kind of at a stand still right now, trying to narrow down my question.
I have narrowed it down to freshman, with a sample size of 50, non-athletes. I think I should think about bedtimes, but I kind of doubt it would change any thing.
Maybe I should make a survey????
I really don't know.

First post:))

Hi,
This, as you can see from the title of this blog, is my blog for my STEM research.
I had my one on one discussion recently, and I have decided to do a study on stress relief.
Apparently, though, I have to narrow down my question into something doable that is more controlled.
That'll be fun. ( the study, I mean)
See ya,
